Scope

“Before there was any great project, there was its scope.”

Scope is the process in project planning that determines and documents what the goals, deliverables, tasks, costs, and deadlines of the project are. In essence, scoping allows one to define the boundaries of a project which then allows for the creation of action plans to ensure that the project goals are met.

Formed in late 2018, EPYH made its debut in the local Dallas dance community through performance-based opportunities and provincial competitions. Although known by word of mouth, the team lacked a prominent media and outreaching presence. With a plan to establish themselves as a serious competitor and in hopes to garner support for their mission to change how the world sees dance, the head director, David Zhang, made it a mission to brand the team professionally.

December 2020 David and Mary sat down for their first consultation and established the scope of what it meant to brand EPYH. Determining what assets would be vital to fit the team’s unique needs, a distinctive branding package was fleshed out as was the schedule that would guide this project over the next 5 months.
